Membership for individuals
As a private member, you support the work of mafianeindanke such as projects, events, research and investigation with an annual contribution. You also gain access to exclusive members-only events like the bimonthly “Antimafia-Stunde” where we invite experts from the Antimafia movement to speak about their work and answer our members’ questions. This can be journalists, researchers, members of the police, judges or other experts. If you want to be an active member of the association, you can join one of our regional groups and become a part of our movement.
The annual membership fee will be €36 from 2025 – this may be the equivalent of a cappuccino a month for you, but it can secure important running costs for us as an organisation, such as our office rent, and drive our projects forward in the long term! You can donate as much as you like – for example €50 as a supporting member or €100 as a sponsor member. We also offer a reduced annual membership fee of €12 for people in a difficult financial situation. Any member can take advantage of this by replying to the annual email before the membership fees are collected. To request your membership, please download the membership application form in German or Italian, fill it in and sign it, then send it to us via email to info[at]mafianeindanke’DOT’de or by post.
Please note:
- By requesting to become a member, you accept our charter and regulations. You can read the charter on our website.
- As part of your membership you will automatically receive our newsletter free of charge. You can unsubscribe at any time. You will find the link at the end of each email.
- You will be invited to our annual general assembly and have voting rights.
- As a member, you have access to exclusive member events such as the bi-monthly “Antimafia-Stunde”, to which we invite experts from the Antimafia movement to report on their work and answer our members’ questions.
- We will contact you after receiving your application to inform you about its approval by our board. Please understand that according to our aims and statutes we do not accept every person or organisation as a member.
Please consider giving us a direct authorisation for the withdrawal of your chosen membership contribution, as this will considerably reduce our administrative costs. You can revoke this authorisation at any time informally by email to info[at]mafianeindanke’DOT’de.

NEW: Membership for school classes
Anti-Mafia at school – it’s possible! School classes can become members of mafianeindanke. The application is signed by a teacher on behalf of the pupils. The reduced membership fee is €6 per pupil (€0.50 per month). In return, the class receives a welcome pack with flyers and stickers. We are happy to support classes in organising an information stand on the topic of the Mafia at school festivals – just send us an email. The pupils can take part in the Antimafia-Stunden. At the end of the school year, the class can decide whether they would like to extend their membership for another year.
NEW: Membership for companies
Companies can also support mafianeindanke by applying for institutional membership. In this way, they support the non-profit work of mafianeindanke with an annual membership fee and can benefit from the expertise of the association by using our high-quality information material or having employees take part in our exclusive member events. Supporting mafianeindanke is also a special way of expressing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Antimafia stands for values such as justice, transparency and solidarity with the victims of Organized Crime and is a good look for any company – whether it’s an AML counselling service, a dental practice or a craft business!
As institutional members, companies have no voting rights in the General Assembly in accordance with our Charter (see Article IV of the Charter). In this way, we as an association protect our independence from influence by commercial interests. A limited number of company employees can take part in the “Antimafia-Stunde”. Institutional members also receive a mafianeindanke support logo, which they can use in their communications to emphasise their charitable commitment.
